Actor Govinda appears as a dancer in the song, who claims to be the actual Tandoori Nightingale. The scene shifts to a small colony where a local goon named Bhaggu lives. In an attempt to settle down, he tries to impress the people of his colony by claiming his uncle (Pran) is none other than legendary actor Pran. He claims that Pran has asked him to move out of Mumbai and settle down at his native place since he is too busy with his work and never gets time for him. The next day, Bhaggu meets another girl (Supriya Pathak) trying to impress her by telling her that his uncle is none other than legendary actor Pran. Supriya is not impressed by his act and she is rather trying hard to make him understand that his act isn't working on her. Bhaggu has no option left but to come clean. He admits her that Pran is not his uncle, but still he respects him a lot. Supriya feels bad for him and in an attempt to cheer him up, she takes him out in the town for shopping. From here starts an interesting journey of Bhaggu (Rajpal Yadav) with the girls (Supriya Pathak and Neelima Kothari) who are also trying hard to impress Bhaggu so that he can take them both to Goa. The fates of the girls and Bhaggu do not match and soon after getting tired with Bhaggu's attitude, Neelima finds herself in a relationship with his best friend (Anand). The song 'Ae Dilruba' is a copy of a Pakistani film song. The song 'Tere Liye' is a copied version of an Iranian film. [3] [4] In "Ram Lakhan", when Govinda was dancing on the song "Tandoori Nightingale" in a club, in the scene when his trouser strap came loose and fell down, he was left dancing without wearing it with the strap hanging around his ankle and then eventually falling on the floor.
